About the Company

This Government Institute are looking for an Injury Management Lead with 1 direct report to come in a lead the injury management department.

This is a permanent role where you will look after wellbeing and injury management over several sites.

About the Role

As an injury management lead your role will be the planning and developing of the Employee Wellbeing Strategy and Wellbeing priorities.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Providing expert wellbeing and injury management advice, training and support to managers and employees, including Return to Work (RTW) & Recover at Work (RAW) followup support, advice on health matters related to travel.
Developing and implementing policies and procedures to support internal Wellbeing initiatives.
Effectively managing workers' compensation processes and cases.
Facilitating processes for return to work, reporting and trend analysis to monitor and measure performance for improvement opportunities.
Providing comprehensive case management and administration of ill and injured employees, including the development and management of RTW and RAW plans across Victoria and interstate as required.
Providing reports as required to inform relevant stakeholders of the effectiveness' of the team's programs and services.
