About the Role


As a Claims Assessor you are responsible for assessing member claims, understanding of Fund policies and procedures and providing accurate information to internal and external stakeholders and providers.

Reporting to the Ancillary Team Leader you be responsible for Claims Assessment, Member Retention and Administration.


_ Please note this will be a 12 month fixed term position_

Responsibilities:


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assess and process all types of claims
  • Assess and review claims in accordance with Fund Rules
  • Maintain claims quality by ensuring processing accuracy targets are achieved
  • Resolve member enquiries to ensure customer service standards are achieved
  • Actively assist fellow team members in assessing complex claims

About you:

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the below experience

  • Accuracy of data input skills and a high attention to detail
  • Be an effective team player
  • An understanding of HCF products and ancillary procedures
  • Ability to enhance unit productivity
  • Ability to work autonomously and set own priorities to ensure unit objectives are met
  • Ability to communicate effectively to both internal and external customers
  • Intermediate PC skills
