    Description

    Our client operates from the North Queensland Export Terminal in Bowen, QLD with a steadfast commitment to maintaining OEM requirements, statutory regulations, and industry best practices. They anticipate ongoing increased throughput in the coming years as their operations expands. They currently have a unique opportunity for a Planning and Engineering Superintendent to join their team.

    Relocation is offered for this permanent position.

    The Role

    • The purpose of this role is to manage the organisation's maintenance and engineering services and support functions.
    • Develop, maintain and implement Training and Development plans for all team members.
    • Manage maintenance planning and scheduling services, including coordination of annual outage schedule.
    • Manage site engineering services - Electrical, Mechanical and Reliability.
    • Maintain proactive working relationships with multiple stakeholders.

    The Person

    • A strong background in maintenance and engineering, with experience in overseeing electrical, mechanical, and reliability engineering services.
    • Familiarity with OEM requirements and statutory regulations is important to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
    • The ability to lead and inspire a team of engineers and technicians is crucial.
    • Effective leadership skills will be essential in fostering a cooperative and high-performing work environment.
