As a valued member of our development team based in Melbourne, you will be responsible for providing solution designs and technical guidance to the development team building the IRiS software.

About us


Certus is a well-respected data management consultancy that helps customers from different verticals across Australia and New Zealand achieve success through the development of best of breed data solutions, many enabled by the Data Vault 2.0 methodology.


We develop and market a best of breed Data Vault 2.0 automation solution that customers can use to deploy robust data architectures and agile data processes to effectively house and understand data.

Our solution, called IRiS, is the first fully integrated platform to leverage the completeness of the Data Vault 2.0 methodology and the scalable cloud infrastructure, and couple it with clever automation tools and flexible services.


About the role

  • Work collaboratively with the wider team guiding them in a technical capacity to be successful fulfilling the requirements of the product owner.
  • Create design/architectural artifacts and make decisions where appropriate
  • Help develop and embed appropriate DV2 methodologies
  • Ensure all software design, development, quality and standards align with the business and technical requirements

About you

  • Ability to lead by example, share insights and knowledge and delegate relevant workloads
  • You will understand the challenges and opportunities within our environment and design solutions to help the team meeting these complex challenges
  • Prior data warehousing experience in any methodology is essential, along with the following technologies; Front end (WPF); Serverside (.Net C#); Google protobuf and associated standards (GRPC etc.); Relational and nonrelational databases; and Supporting tools (Git / JIRA / Jenkins / Bitbucket).
