    Description

    Our client is a company that specialises in providing stage to stage or door to door freight service for tours, events, and projects. They are looking for a Domestic Freight Coordinator to join their team and take over the domestic freight movements.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate the collection and movement of equipment for domestic freight movements
    • Liaise with clients and suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient logistics
    • Keep clients and suppliers updated on progress and any changes to schedules
    • Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure all freight and logistical components are managed efficiently and effectively
    • Identify areas for process improvement and work to streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs

    Role Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in domestic freight coordination or logistics
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Detail-oriented and highly organized
    • Familiarity with logistics software and tools
    • Knowledge of the live event industry is a plus
