Applus Pty Ltd is a division of an international inspection company that carries out a wide range of advanced non-destructive testing, inspection and asset integrity services.

As well as the Australian operations, Applus has offices in Europe, Africa, Asia, North and South America focusing on the inspection and maintenance of industrial facilities.

The company specialises in performing non-destructive tests and inspections to secure the quality and integrity of technical facilities.
Applus are currently seeking an experienced Offshore Inspectors to work 2/2 rosters (12-hour days). Previous offshore experience with in-service pressure equipment will be essential in this role.


Duties

  • Conduct inspection activities in accordance with Client standards, guidelines and procedures as supported, where necessary, by Applus procedures and guidelines.
  • Supervision of nondedicated Applus Plant Inspectors and NDT personnel, where required, when deployed to Client facilities for operational and shutdown activities.
  • Attend Client or Applus offices in Perth during offswing periods for inspection liaison, coordination, and training or induction activities, as required.
  • Provide input into shutdown planning and implementation activities, as required.
  • Comply with Client safety rules and other health, safety and environment (HSE) requirements.
  • Provide prompt reporting (as appropriate) to Applus, with respect to HSE and integrity related issues, as requested.
  • Provide prompt input into HSE reviews and incident investigations.
  • Provide prompt reporting of any anomalies, including equipment calibration issues etc.
  • Supervision of Applus equipment on the facility to ensure proper use and storage, as required.
  • Calibration of equipment on offshore facilities, in accordance with Applus procedures.
  • Undertake stock take of consumables and equipment on facilities.
  • Ensure all certification and inductions, as required, to undertake the inspection activities on Client facilities are maintained and current.
  • Maintenance of personal documentation (i.e. certification, inductions, insurances etc).
  • Provision to Applus of documentation (i.e. certification, inductions, insurances etc) as requested.

Requirements:


  • AICIP (API 510 & 570) essential
  • IRATA Level 1 (can arrange training)
  • Minimum 3 years inspection experience
  • Previous experience in a similar offshore supervisory position
  • Current MSIC/BOSIET (can book these)
  • Any NDT qualifications (AINDT/PCN desirable)

Salary:
$95, $150,000.00 per year
