About the client:
Our client, a global organisation based in Brisbane's Southside are a renowned name within the industry when it comes to the manufacture and supply of their high end range of product that they supply into a number of different industries such as defence, mining, automotive, transport, commercial and civil construction industries.
Sales Manager based out of our client's office in Brisbane's Southside.
Key points of interest of the role include:
- Ensure performance requirements of the national sales team are met
- Coordinate, develop and manage effective sales and marketing strategies across the sales team
- Proactively manage major and national client accounts
- Identify new markets and sales opportunities for new and existing products
- Supervise sales employees to ensure optimum performance
- Provide guidance and coaching to marketing coordinators
- Manage and ensure the company's presence at trade show opportunities and other strategic marketing opportunities
- Permanent role
- Company car or car allowance to be negotiated
- Brisbane Southside
- Monday
- Friday 8am 4:30pm
- Previous senior management experience is necessary
- Previous experience in management/leadership in a manufacturing environment is beneficial
- A relevant postgraduate qualification is desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage key industry stakeholders and clients
- The ability to lead and motivate a team of sales professionals
