About the Role

You will be responsible for planning and implementing community consultation / relations programs, with the aim of ensuring relationships with project landowners, neighbours and local communities are both positive and constructive.

It is a full time position, with flexibility to be based anywhere in NSW - as long as flexible to visit sites (mainly Dubbo region) as and when required.

Key Responsibilities

Lead engagement with landowners, neighbors, and communities
Develop strategies for stakeholder and community engagement, including communication and events
Foster relationships with key stakeholders, authorities, and advocacy groups
Collaborate with wind farm contractors for effective landholder engagement
Attend and organize community and stakeholder events
Manage inquiries promptly, handling routine matters and escalating complex ones as needed
Manage website content and social media

Skills & Experience

Experience in a similar community engagement position (renewables not essential)
Ability to handle issues and difficult conversations constructively
Strong at building relationships with a range of stakeholders
Any media content experience is valuable
Effective communication skills
Willingness to travel to the site
