- Offering direction, support, and guidance to a team of Catering Attendants.
- Actively managing your team's performance, which includes training and coaching.
- Supervising all production activities to ensure meticulous packing of all flights according to standards.
- Investigating, analyzing, recommending, and implementing corrective actions to address assembly issues.
- Ensuring completion, review, and proper actioning of all paperwork.
- Regularly monitoring and revising plans to accommodate changes in customer requirements.
- Establishing clear and consistent goals and expectations for team members in relation to their KPIs with regular follow-ups.
- Demonstrating a thorough understanding of and adherence to dnata catering policies and procedures.
- Motivating and inspiring team members by fostering a culture of trust, open communication, innovative thinking, and teamwork.
- Planning monthly/weekly work assignments, staff schedules, and rostering.
- Proven track record of working in an operational environment.
- Experience in Food Hygiene/Health & Safety/High Security environments is preferred.
- Prior experience in overseeing more than 30 frontline employees.
- Outstanding leadership abilities and experience in managing a diverse workforce.
- A dedicated commitment to food safety and compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous background in a commercial kitchen setting is advantageous.
- Since you'll be in the Aviation Services sector, a clear National Police Check is required.
