Your Role:As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and management of privacy initiatives and projects to ensure the protection of data/information aligning with the relevant Australian Privacy legislation.


Your Duties and Background:


  • You will lead and manage privacyrelated projects
  • You will ensure privacy compliance with relevant privacy regulations by developing and implementing privacy policies, procedures, and controls
  • You will implement and oversee data loss protection technology and controls
  • You will conduct privacy impact assessments to mitigate privacyrelated risks
  • You will identify and assess privacyrelated risks to ensure the organization's privacy risks are effectively managed
  • You will develop and deliver privacy training programs to ensure employees are educated on privacy best practices
  • You will establish and maintain an incident response plan for privacyrelated incidents
  • You will evaluate and manage thirdparty vendors' privacy practices
  • You will engage with a variety internal and external stakeholders
  • You will continuously monitor privacy regulations, to enhance the organization's privacy program and ensure its effectiveness.

Your Desirable Criteria:

Ideal experience and qualities within

  • 57 years of experience in program management, with a focus on privacy and data protection
  • Utilities/Energy sector background/experience preferable
  • Strong track record in collaborating with crossfunctional teams and building relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of relevant privacy regulations
  • Experience in implementing and managing data loss protection technologies
  • Familiarity with privacy frameworks and standards
  • Experience in conducting privacy risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies
  • Ability to lead and manage privacyrelated projects
