About the role
The Screen Reading Training position will be provided comprehensive exposure to breast medical imaging settings within BSSA, while contributing to the provision of clinical services to BSSA clients.
Under the supervision of the Supervising Radiologists, Radiologist Head of Unit and the Clinical Director, Screen Reading Training will; undertake of a minimum of 2,000 screen reads within a pro-rata 12-month period.
The Screen Reading Training will contribute to the provision of high standard radiology services to BSSA Clients, referred to the Department, participate in clinical meetings and quality assurance programs.

Essential Requirements:
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working With Children Check (DHS)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description.
Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
Educational/Vocational Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
- Appropriate specialist qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with specialist registration or another qualification as defined in the SA Health Visiting Medical Specialists Enterprise Agreement 2012 (or its successor).
