- Finance Manager required for leading Facilities Management company
- Exciting newly created opportunity
- $150,000 plus super and bonus
- Oversee general ledger operations and finalise month-end and recurring journal entries.
- Coordinate monthly closings and preparation of financial statements.
- Compile and analyse financial information to prepare monthly and annual accounts.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with accepted policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Meet all financial reporting deadlines and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
- Continuously manage and support budget and forecast activities.
- Monitor and support taxation issues related to the property department.
- Ensure accurate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses to improve margins.
- Ensure contract KPIs are met for financial management services.
- Collaborate with the contract manager and key team members on budget development.
- Manage the accounts receivable and accounts payable teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- CA / CPA qualified
- Extensive Finance Management experience.
- Sound knowledge and experience with relevant legislation, policies, standards, and agreements.
- A high level of demonstrated proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Strong demonstrated experience in a property or corporate real estate environment or at a senior level in a similarly complex industry.
- Proven ability in managing a small finance team.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated business planning and high-level financial knowledge and skills.
- Proven capability of working within an environment using QA, OH&S, and environmental systems.
- Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible/innovative approach to problems and opportunities.
