The Role
This is a new role within the Emerging Channels division of Sanitarium.

It is an excellent developmental role within the sales structure, offering a high degree of exposure to the workings of the International Export markets and the opportunity to learn the intricacies of strategic account management.

Reporting to the Business Manager - International, the role will be a contributor to the achievement of Category, Marketing and Sales plans and objectives.

The Assistant National Account Manager will support the International Business Team to formulate effective go-to-market strategies, including promotional and marketing programs, that will optimise Sanitarium's opportunity for growth internationally with distributor networks.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the implementation of sales strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Analysis of various data sources to monitor current market dynamics and provide strategic insights.
  • Reviewing current strategies & processes, and providing recommendations for future direction.
  • Supporting the International Brand Team with PointofSale strategies and coordination of distribution to key markets.
  • Research projects to inform marketing campaigns and strategy.
  • Supporting with building and collating range review and new product presentations for Distributor Partners and International Retailers.
  • Key team contact for the development and coordination of internal business reporting streams such as Power BI, Sara and One.
  • Maintaining strong, positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effectively engage and collaborate with various crossfunctional teams.

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce or Finance desired.
  • 12 years' experience in similar role.
  • Retail, FMCG or similar industry experience.
  • Strong Administration experience with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excel and Power BI experience.
  • AC Nielsen (or equivalent) data management (desirable).
  • PowerPoint (or equivalent).
