A bit about the role


The
Community Support Project and Planning Officer role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high performing team that provide strategic support and advice across the Community Support Department.

As part of the team, you will deliver a range of projects and strategic documents, with a focus on continuous improvement and strategic projects.


Your project management experience will see you excel in business planning for the Department, leading continuous improvement initiatives, including the Continuous Improvement Framework, and delivering strategic projects and Action Plans for Community Support.


What you will deliver

  • Guidance and advice on the establishment and documentation of clear procedures and processes across the department.
  • System and process improvements, including supporting annual business planning and reporting activities in alignment with organisational priorities.
  • Lead the monitoring of actions and commitments of the Community Support Department to Council strategies and action plans.
  • Continuous improvement initiatives, project evaluations and implementation plans, for key projects across the Community Support Department.

What you will bring

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • The ability to multitask and manage competing high priority tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Proven experience in delivering projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A continuous improvement mindset with a positive, proactive, flexible attitude and willingness to be part of a team culture that reflects the values of organisation.
