The IT Business Partner role is responsible for IT portfolio planning and executing business engagement activities for strategic IT projects within the designated business portfolio.

The role primarily involves working with:
Portfolio and IT Demand management, including reporting and assessment.
Scoping of proposals for assessment in portfolio management framework
Planning and executing projects across varied teams and stakeholders
Managing external vendors to ensure requirements are understood and agreed to.
Aligning the above to overarching IT and Business Strategies.

The Business Partner's primary focus is to assist the business in achieving its goals while aligning to the overarching roadmap as well as IT strategies and policies.

This is achieved through superior communication and coordination skills which enable the Business Partner to work with business owners on developing proposal for change and take a lead in marshalling and directing resources to desired outcomes.
