    Description

    Award winning national fitout specialist is looking for a capable estimator to join its office-based team within Melbourne's CBD.

    The business is spread over three states and have been growing steadily for over the last 10 years and are financially secure, with Melbourne being one of their biggest offices. This role will report straight into the Estimating Manager and you'll be in a team of three and will tender on projects ranging in value from $1M - $15M. The projects will predominantly be design & construct, fitout and refurb.

    It is an end-to-end estimating role so on top on BOQ preparation the role requires sub-contractor and supplier liaison and engagement which means positive communication is a key to success.

    To be considered the following skills and attributes will be required:

    • A minimum of 3+ years experience tendering on a wide range of projects up to $15M in value
    • Be capable with D & C tendering
    • Ability to think on your feet
    • Quality take offs
    • Ability to tender on multiple projects simultaneously
    • Strong customer service focus
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Cubit and Estimate One is preferred
    • Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships
    • Ability to read and interpret building plans/engineering drawings
    The successful applicant will receive a leading salary starting at $120,000 up to $150,000 dependent on experience from a forward thinking modern day company who values all of its employees, from senior management right down.
