Manager, Group Treasury - Liquidity Reporting - Change Management


Join our Group Treasury team as a highly motivated Manager to work in the area of Risk, Reporting, Analytics & Platform (RRAP) with a focus on liquidity reporting.

Group Treasury sits within the Financial Management Group and is responsible for Macquarie's Liquidity, Funding, Capital and Group Structure.

The RRAP team is responsible for delivering quality capital and liquidity information to fulfil regulatory reporting obligations, for capital and liquidity management and for other stakeholders under a robust risk management framework.


As a Manager in the team, you will have diverse responsibilities while challenging yourself on a daily basis and expanding your skill set in a team that supports flexible working arrangements to suit your needs outside of work.

Your main responsibility will be supporting the team with the overall target to ensure changes in Macquarie's businesses and the regulatory environment are assessed, reviewed and implemented effectively in liquidity reporting.

You will be working closely with internal stakeholders on liquidity related matters, which includes:

  • Analysing liquidity reporting impact from regulatory changes and ensuring compliance with APRA prudential standards and requirements.
  • Reviewing liquidity reporting impact of new products and businesses
  • Enhancing and uplifting the new products and businesses assessment (NPBA) process within liquidity
  • Managing change through deep dive reviews of liquidity assumptions and treatments with GT Liquidity, Risk and Businesses.
  • Implementing change through coordination and facilitation of liquidity systems testing
  • Improving change management governance and controls within liquidity reporting
  • Participating in high profile liquidity initiatives and automation projects

Key to your success in this role:

  • Knowledge of, and a genuine interest in liquidity reporting and analysis, be highly motivated and organised with strong interpersonal skills
  • Independent drive, analytical skills and attention to detail are key parts of this role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across a variety of different audiences and adaptable to change
  • Experience in financial services or investment banking with previous exposure to liquidity (LCR, NSFR) preferred
  • Accounting or Finance degree (or similar)
  • Knowledge and understanding of APRA prudential standards (APS 210) desirable
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Team player who has a collaborative attitude and is effective in a dynamic working environment
  • High level of integrity with an emphasis on improving processes, controls and governance
