Company: VentiaConfluence Water, the Ventia, Downer and Jacobs joint venture, is one of three consortia delivering services under Sydney Water's Partnering for Success program. Confluence Water delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services in Sydney Water's North region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.

In this new role as our
Operational Excellence Lead your mandate will be to define, lead & drive our Operational Excellence Strategy & Plan.

The focus of this role is on effective integration & continuous improvement of enterprise-wide systems and processes within Confluence Water.

Design, develop & integrate systems and processes that are fit-for-purpose & adopted by the business to simplify our delivery. Create a culture of continuous improvement where staff contribute to improve existing ways of working. Manage a small team of specialists to gather system & process insights and implement operational excellence. Liaise with business managers and leaders to understand and respond to improvement opportunities.

KEY DELIVERABLES

Operational Excellence Strategy & Plan.
IT Roadmap implementation & system integrations (as required).
Project Development Optimisation Program.
Measurement & reporting of value achieved in operational excellence & improvement initiatives.
Team leadership.

Capability to assess and improve business systems & critical processes.
Demonstrated management and organisational skills.
Demonstrated IT skills.
Ability to set targets, implement & deliver leveraging line reports.
Demonstrated experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level.
Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.
An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
