The Town of Port Hedland has an amazing opportunity for a

HR Business Partner to join their team.


Role purpose:
The role of the

HR Business Partner will be to support the organisation in all aspects of operational HR by providing effective technical advice in the areas of

human resource management, recruitment and selection and employee relations.

To be successful for this position applicants will need to have:


Essential:


  • Degree qualifications in
    Human Resources,
    industrial relations or similar, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Comprehensive experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including negotiations skills building stakeholder relationships.
  • Significant knowledge of contemporary HR practices & processes.
  • Significant experience in the ability to interpret awards, enterprise agreements, policy and procedures and provide advice to employees and management.
  • Demonstrated competence in conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in data analysis, systems implementation and continuous business improvement.

Desirable:


  • Previous Local Government Experience
