About The Role


As the
Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for the successful operation of the overall business within this busy supermarket.

You will be responsible for the team management, development and P&L whilst ensuring the highest quality of goods are being presented and are available to your customers.


Skills & Experience

  • Previous Supermarket Management experience is essential
  • Fresh Produce experience is essential
  • Metcash system experience
  • The ability to train and develop staff
  • Full P&L accountability
  • Control department costs such as wastage, wages and other operational costs
  • Understanding of local market and seasonal trends
  • Food safety standards
