Be a part of a close-knit team, as the Administration Assistant, at company Head Office, located on Hope Island.

Providing support to the Community Operations team and Community Managers, you'll be managing a wide range of office administration activity.


Describe the client:

This is a diversified Australian property development company. It has business in shopping centres, residential estates, industrial estates and manufactured housing communities.


Position Description:


  • Managing incoming calls, directing them to the relevant person and welcoming and greeting all walkin internal or external stakeholders
  • Assist with the management of all meeting rooms ensuring all are kept clean and tidy at all times, particularly following the completion of a meeting
  • Keeping the kitchens tidy including emptying and filling the dishwashers (at start/end of the day)
  • Oversee the general organisation and maintenance of the office environment
  • Assist in the coordination of catering for events/functions or meetings (including tea and coffee requests for meetings in progress)
  • Processing all incoming/outgoing mail and daily couriers
  • Maintaining all stocks of kitchen, stationery, and office supplies
  • Coordinate the procurement of business cards, name badges and uniforms needed for employees across Land Lease Communities
  • Support the Community Managers with raising purchase orders, processing payments and expenses
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding of staff members
  • Provide administrative support to the Community Operations team and the Community Managers
  • All other general administrative duties

Position Requirements:


  • Solid administration/reception experience working in an office environment, providing customer service face to face and/or phone
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • High attention to detail, excellent time management and a proactive approach as well as the ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • A good understanding of the full Microsoft Office Suite
