The Role


We are looking for an experienced full-time Legal Assistant to join our highly regarded Planning and Environment team in Brisbane.

This role will support one Partner and the wider Planning & Environment team.

The role will be varied including the following key responsibilities_ (amend as required)_:

  • Supporting the Partner in managing their practice;
  • Document drafting, amendment, management and dictation;
  • Proactive diary management and meeting coordination;
  • Management of monthly client reporting and billing;
  • Coordination of travel arrangement;
  • Secretarial support for general administrative tasks; and
  • Working with and providing assistance to other legal assistants.

Experience

You must also demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Ability to exercise initiative;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external parties;
  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team; and
