About the Role
Based at our Adelaide office, the Operational Readiness (OR) Advisor plays a key role to support the smooth integration of projects into Midstream Production Operations.

Key accountabilities include:
- Support delivery of Operations Readiness Plan (ORP) as per SMS Procedures, ensuring key stakeholders' involvement in scoping exercises, workshops, and document authoring.
- Facilitates key OR deliverables for the Moomba assets, covering aspects such as operations and maintenance procedures, asset strategy development and system configuration and training and emergency response requirements.
- Maintain a detailed ORP schedule for communicating and engaging stakeholders. Develops and manages interfaces with other parts of the project to maintain a coherent OR schedule.
- Supports performance reporting and communications across full range of asset stakeholders.
- As OR SME; guide, assist OR stakeholders (eg Project Engineers, Process/Integrity/Reliability/Production Engineers, Operations Reps, Vendors) with their OR deliverables to ensure project schedule and operational expectations are met.
- Capable of working on multiple projects concurrently, effectively managing multiple priorities, and supporting the transition of ORP to startup assurance activities.
About You
Professional Experience
Essential experience required for this position includes:
- Broad oil and gas background with significant operational and engineering experience.
- 10+ years in engineering, operations, projects or project management type role
Desired experience for this position includes:
- Operational, maintenance or project leadership in major hazardous facility
- Electronic Data Management System (EDMS), CMMS Master Data, Asset Strategy experience
- A good knowledge of Process design. Well versed in Process Safety Management including HAZOPs, LOPAs and SIL assessment studies.
- Specialist level knowledge of SWPP related conditions e.g isolation and purge philosophy, confined space entry mandates, hot work controls, Life Saving Rule basics.
Technical competencies for this position are:
- Process Safety, Regulations & Standards, Reliability Engineering, Risk Assessment & Control, Field Operations, Process Design, Mechanical Design, Onshore Pipelines, Rotating Machinery, Integrity Engineering, Materials Engineering, Commissioning and Project Engineering.
- Project management experience, strong communication skills, broad mechanical, civil and process engineering knowledge, solid understanding of operational aspects at the plant and in field, advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially MS Excel
Qualifications
Tertiary qualified in engineering, or sciences or accounting/business or appropriate operations qualifications / experience.
