What you will be doing


As a Fatigue Risk Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in data analytics on Fatigue Risk Management data and providing advice to operational areas of the business to assisting them in achieving safety objectives through developing and maintaining systems and processes related to Human Factors and Fatigue Risk.


The position is based in Brisbane Head Office in Southbank and, you will work closely with the Leader, FRMS and Human Factors.

As a Fatigue Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Data analysis and interpretation of fatigue reports to identify trends and contributing factors to minimise fatigue risk.

  • Providing advice to stakeholders based on conclusions including possible risk mitigation strategies.
  • Analyse outputs from biomathematical modeling tools, understand crew management systems and rosters, and the relationship between the two
  • Assist in the management of regulatory requirements as necessary to maintain the FRMS.
  • Participation in FRMS/HF risk assessments supporting operational activity.
  • Revise training material for presentation in accordance with approved FRMS/HF principles.

You'll be great in this role if you:

  • Demonstrated experience working with business intelligences tools
  • A genuine passion for customer experience, data and continuous improvement
  • Naturally posses an analytical mindset and enjoys modelling scenarios based on data
  • Experience in communicating effectively with all levels of an organisation
  • Exceptional problem solving skills coupled with the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines
  • Previous experience in Fatigue Risk or safety performance exposure is ideal, however not mandatory
