Our client, a leading company in manufacturing, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join their team.

The role is based in Officer and offers a competitive salary package.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure all maintenance and capital work is performed safely.
  • Manage and lead a team of maintenance personnel.
  • Maintain the plant and equipment to enable effective and efficient operations.
  • Oversee capital projects from planning to delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate measures.
  • Manage the maintenance budget and ensure costeffective operations.
  • Maintain quality accreditations and compliance with regulations.
  • Represent the maintenance department in meetings and discussions.
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of maintenance employees.
  • Perform incident investigations and report findings.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of maintenance procedures and policies.

Key Qualifications/Experience:


  • Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on maintenance management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Indepth knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
  • Experience in asset management and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Sound technical expertise and problemsolving abilities.
  • Budget management and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and maintenance management software.
  • Quality accreditation experience (e.g., Feedsafe, HACCP) preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
