About the role

The Business Partner, People & Culture reports to the Executive Lead, People & Culture, and is responsible for the efficient running of the operational People & Culture function.

You'll be the first point of contact for all People & Culture (P&C) related queries and you'll own all operational P&C functions, with support from the Executive Lead, People & Culture, including end to end recruitment and onboarding.


Key responsibilities:


  • Providing exemplary highlevel P&C operations support, servicing the employee lifecycle
  • Leading Wellbeing & Safety compliance and initiatives
  • Supporting a constructive and highperformance culture by providing pragmatic and actionable advice on Employee Relations cases
  • Administering the performance appraisal and management systems and processes
  • Working closely with the Executive Lead, People & Culture in implementing the VicHealth Workforce Plan
  • Supporting a variety of P&C communication related activities.


You'll have a proven track record a similar role, and will be able to easily demonstrate excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills, gained in a fast-paced and complex environment.

You'll be a great problem solver, who can demonstrate how you take a whole-of-system view.

You'll be comfortable interacting with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, at all levels of seniority, up to the CEO.Agility, initiative, and a proactive working style will set you up for success in this integral position.


Additional qualifications and experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, organisational psychology, business/commerce, or a related field
  • Impressive experience in an Advisor or Business Partner role with a track record managing end to end recruitment within a similar environment
  • Welldeveloped experience in developing and maintaining strong internal and external relationships
  • Experience with the Springboard recruitment system is highly regarded
  • Ability to establish systems and procedures to guide work and track progress
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, organisation and negotiation skills
  • High competency with Microsoft Office, including with Excel for reporting purposes.
