Business Need / Purpose of Role
Reporting to the Port Manager, the role is to perform and direct all operational functions, bookings and management in relation to a cruise port calls as direct by the principal and in accordance with government legislation and regulations
.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and principal requirements
- Processing clearances of all Cruise vessels
- Performing all arrangements regarding cruise vessels in coordination with main office and vessel/principal requirements
- Establish and maintain relationships with principals, relevant government departments and agencies, local authorities and service providers
- Performing accurate and timely database management
- Providing the port and head office management with update information on local rules and regulations, changes in port charges, and related requirements
- Coordinating and managing cruise vessels movements, goods & services
Selection criteria:
- Experience in Administration, Customer service or Events Planning
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Ability to work towards a deadline
- A level of computer literacy
