The Opportunity


We're hiring a Commercial Analyst based in Perth Airport, WA If you're passionate about numbers and insights, enjoy building strong relationships, and love the idea of making impactful decisions, this role is for you.


As our new Commercial Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our business operations, collaborating closely with both Toll operations and our leading grocery client's operations teams.

The purpose of this role is to provide invaluable insights and strategic support that will drive our operational excellence and financial success.

A day in the life of a Commercial Analyst at Toll Group

  • Collaborate closely with Toll operations and our grocery client's operations team to gain insights into the commercial aspects of the business.
  • Generate weekly performance reports, develop weekly Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, and interpret data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Understand and analyse cost drivers within the business, providing recommendations for costsaving initiatives to improve profitability.
  • Manage ad hoc queries from various stakeholders, providing timely and accurate insights to support decisionmaking processes.
What you'll need to succeed

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar analytical role, preferably within the logistics, supply chain or transportation industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis techniques.
  • A strategic and proactive approach to problemsolving and decisionmaking.
