Organisational Development Consultant - Ongoing Full TimeThis role is located in the Organisational Development Branch and provides services and strategic policy and program advice in areas of capability and leadership, organisational culture, diversity, conduct and performance, employee relations, payroll, recruitment and provision of HR data to assist in the building of a high-quality and diverse workforce.

Recruitment, payroll and reporting support is also provided to external clients.

The Organisational Development Branch the responsibility for designing and delivering the Department's people development, performance, culture and diversity strategies to:


  • Lead the Department's corporate leadership and capability development programs aligned to DET's Strategic intent, Strategic Plan, and Leadership Charter
  • Lead initiatives to embed a culture of integrity and accountability aligned to the public sector values, across all areas of the Department


An exciting opportunity for a motivated Organisational Development professional to make significant contribution to the delivery of the Department's OD policies and procedures through developing, leading, delivering and supporting a range of organisational development (OD) programs across the Department's corporate workforce.

The successful applicant will build partnership supporting managers and executives while implementing effective and practical OD initiatives within their areas including the delivery of PDP programs and other culture change initiatives.

Responsivness, agility and adeptness in tailoring practical approaches to stakeholder needs will also be essential.
