About the role
This role offers the opportunity to lead of an established branch and progress it to the next level.

Working closely with General Manager you will take an active part in leading staff, overseeing the daily operation of the branch, influencing retail sales and managing a simple budget, liaising with suppliers and investigating new areas of opportunity.

First and foremost, this is a proactive role where you will roll up your sleeves and work alongside the retail team daily.


Duties

  • Support the current team, identify opportunities for growth and personal development
  • Be proactive across sales and business activities at a retail level
  • Manage sales budgets, prepare and provide weekly and monthly general reports
  • Review operational procedures and identify areas of improvement
  • Maintain stock levels and a wellpresented retail environment
  • Be an inclusive and proactive leader

Skills and Experience

  • Have a track record of industrial retail branch sales and leadership
  • Have sound customer service and front counter skills
  • Be technically computer savvy and competent with Excell, Microsoft Word and data entry systems
  • Be commercially skilled with sales, pricing and budgets
  • Have a flair for training and mentorship
  • Be well organised with sound verbal and written communication skills
