About the Role


ArchiPro is seeking a proactive Managing Editor to spearhead our content marketing endeavours and manage the day-to-day operations of content creation, across Australia and New Zealand.

In this role, you will be at the helm of crafting and executing a robust content marketing strategy aimed at captivating our target audiences and accomplishing our organisational goals.

Ultimately, the Managing Editor identifies the audience, the big ideas, the distribution strategy and the audience's intended reaction.


Your expertise in content management, editorial direction, and digital media will play a pivotal role in propelling the growth and triumph of our platform.


Responsibilities include:


  • Develop and refine the content strategy for ArchiPro alongside the Head of Content, aligning it with the company's goals and objectives. Stay uptodate with industry trends, user preferences, and search engine optimisation (SEO) techniques to guide content creation.
  • Ensure content strategy aligns seamlessly with overarching business objectives.
  • Lead and inspire a team of writers. Set editorial guidelines, standards, and best practices to ensure consistent and highquality content production across different formats (articles, videos, images, etc.).
  • Collaborate with various teams, including design, marketing, and product, to plan and execute a diverse range of content initiatives, such as feature articles, design guides, trend reports, and more.
  • Review, edit, and provide constructive feedback on content to ensure accuracy, clarity, tone, and adherence to brand voice. Maintain a keen eye for detail and ensure content meets the highest editorial standards.
  • Manage the editorial calendar, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely delivery of content. Coordinate with freelancers and internal stakeholders to streamline content creation processes.
  • Work closely with the SEO team to optimise content for search visibility and user engagement. Utilise analytics tools to track content performance, gather insights, and make datadriven decisions to improve content strategies.
  • Conduct thorough research to gain a profound understanding of various customer personas, crafting content tailored to the preferences.
  • Perform extensive analysis of consumer insights and trends to inform content direction.
  • Conduct periodic content audits to assess quality, relevance, and alignment with objectives.
  • Track and measure content ROI to gauge its impact on the business.
  • Continuously strategize and enhance content delivery and promotional tactics.
  • Scrutinise the effectiveness of the content marketing strategy, making informed decisions based on analysis of its performance.
  • Attend events on behalf of the company.

Requirements:


  • 8+ years in an editorial role in the industry.
  • A degree in journalism, communications, or similar.
  • Exceptional ability in copywriting and editing.
  • Experience in the field of architecture, design, or related industries is a bonus.
  • In depth knowledge of WordPress and SEO concepts.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with social media and video distribution.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills, allowing you to collaborate seamlessly with crossfunctional teams, partners and clients.
  • Confidence liaising with clients.
  • Confidence in public speaking and filmed interviews.
  • Agile, flexible and willing to roll up your sleeves when required.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to meet deadlines while working collaboratively in a closeknit team.
  • Strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit and resilience, adapting to constant changes.
