We have an exciting opportunity for a landscaping apprentice to join our team

You will be working alongside our highly skilled and qualified tradespeople learning and mastering your trade.

Responsibilities for this position include:

Assist in the design, planning and construction of new landscaping projects around the Western Sydney region
Working in a team environment with skilled tradespeople that are committed to helping grow the skills needed
Growing together with the business as a team
All aspects of landscaping works including decking, paving, concreting, gardens, retaining walls, water features, etc
Learning to control the quality of work, and implement this to a high standard
Training in the use of onsite machinery (excavators, front end loaders, tippers, etc)
Complete study and on the job components to meet qualification requirements for Certificate III Landscaping, which includes travel for training purposes.
Additional incentive based perks for performance and punctuality
Attending TAFE NSW weekly to complete your trade certification (Apprentice only)

To be successful you will need to have the following:

Must have:

Ability to undertake manual/physical work
Genuine interest in landscaping
Own vehicle/transport to various sites around Western Sydney
Motivation, punctual, reliable and energetic work ethic
High level of attention to detail
Good time management skills
Be a confident communicator
Ability to do overtime whenever possible (if necessary)
Willingness to want to learn from your leading hands and tradesman
Base hours 7am 3:30pm

Preferred but not essential:

Driver Licence (manual desirable)
A white card
Experience in outdoor labour works
Living in Western Sydney (we are based in Mulgoa)

Applicants may be required to work some Saturdays.
