About the role


Support our Aged Care clients to remain living independently in their own homes through the provision of basic domestic assistance and personal care support across the
Brookfield & Melton areas.


You will help our clients remain living independently at home between the hours of 8.30am and 5pm assisting various clients throughout the day.

We have flexible part time & casual positions available.


Key Responsibilities

  • Domestic assistance such as meal preparation and light cleaning
  • Personal Care including grooming and showering
  • Community access to medical appointments and social activities
  • Assistance with tasks and routines outlined by an approved medical professional
  • Build rapport and collaborate effectively with clients to establish positive relationships

Skills & Experience

  • A current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certification
  • An Australian Driver's Licence and ownership of a registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or other relevant qualification and experience (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
  • Passionate about making a positive impact in our ageing community
  • To be considered for and appointed to a position at Life Without Barriers, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID19 with a minimum of two (2) doses or hold a valid medical exemption certificate, in accordance with Life Without Barriers Employee COVID19 Vaccination Policy. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination status during the recruitment process_
