About the Role


This position is uniquely positioned within the business, involving interactions with Upstream operations, maintenance planning and scheduling, project engineering, production engineering, drilling and completions, Santos Energy Solutions, and commercial teams.

- **This is a Brisbane based role._

Key accountabilities include but not limited to:

  • Deliver an optimised Cooper Upstream production outlook within the 120-day window aligned with the integrated schedule and activity plan.
  • Monitor and report on performance against the production plan within the 120day window.
  • Provide inputs for Cooper Upstream Commercial to manage Santos' obligations as Transport provider to several Joint Ventures and a small number of third parties.
  • Optimise business outcomes, responsible for liaising on behalf of operations with Commercial to develop more economic commercial solutions to production schedule issues.
  • Upstream gas and liquids point of contact for Santos Energy Solutions, commercial, engineering to ensure integrated schedule production and cost outcomes across the Cooper.
  • Develop and maintain production planning tools that incorporate reliability and capacity data.
  • Compliance with the Santos Management System (SMS).
  • Compliance with the Santos Delegation of Authority (DOA).
  • Compliance with the Santos Corporate Governance and Safety requirements.

About You

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with sitebased operations personnel, engineering, and management.
  • Practical experience building and maintaining planning models or a keen interest in developing in this area.
  • Processdriven with strong analytical skills.
  • An affinity for working in a fastpaced and high performing, corporate environment where continuous improvement is a cultural norm.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or experience in a similar role.
  • Highly proficient in MS office products and data modelling / manipulation and ideally will be experienced in the use of SAP.
