The Opportunity:

As an APS6 Training Officer, you will have the opportunity to work with a passionate team and deliver leadership and management training.

The Role:

Working as the APS6 Training officer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Delivering training to students who use English as a second language
Developing and delivering a wide range of effective learning solutions and programs for staff. This may include elearning, facetoface or virtual training, workshops, webinars, newsletters, experiential learning or peertopeer learning opportunities
Motivating, developing people and providing direction to support Academy employees
Modelling workplace safety, equity and diversity, participative management and effective workplace environments and acting in accordance with the APS Values and Behaviours

Your Background and Experience:

Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment
Proven track record in delivering training to students who use English as a second language
High level of competence in providing expert knowledge in leadership and management
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
Proven critical thinking, creativity and problemsolving capabilities. Experience using humancentred design principles and data to inform outcomes is preferred

A baseline security clearance will be required for this role.

Salary / Rate:

- $60/hr - $65/hr + 10.5% super
