Our Purpose


United for Care offers independent living for members of the community to live in individual apartment accommodation with 24 hour support in our Vertical Villages.

The team at United for Care are passionate and dedicated to innovation in the disability sector with the purpose of improving the quality of life for the vulnerable and people living with disability.


The Position


The National Partnerships Manager will lead a team of Business Development Managers to exceed their KPIs and develop effective partnerships that facilitate the establishment of services and the growth of United for Care's service offerings.


This position focuses on building and establishing strong referral pathways and networks within the disability sector to support United for Care's expansion into different states and the diversification of its service mix.


The key responsibilities of the position include:

Partnership Development**:

Develop and implement strategies to build and foster partnerships with key stakeholders in different states, including NDIS service providers, disability service providers, government agencies, community groups, and relevant industry bodies.


Referral Pathway Establishment:

Create and enhance referral pathways in each targeted state to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care for individuals with disabilities.

Identify gaps in service provision and develop protocols for efficient referral processes in collaboration with local stakeholders.

Identify areas of opportunity for United for Care and present these in line with United for Care strategic growth plans.


Network Building:
Establish and nurture a wide network of contacts within the disability sector in each targeted state.

Actively engage with stakeholders through networking events, conferences, and meetings to expand United for Care's presence and influence in new regions.


Collaboration and Relationship Management:

Work closely with internal teams to facilitate effective collaboration and information sharing between United for Care and local service providers, support workers, and program managers.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, as well as identify opportunities for collaboration and joint initiatives in new markets.


Knowledge sharing:

Facilitate interdepartmental workshops to share best practices within the disability sector and upskill internal teams to ensure staff understand United for Cares service offering, unique value propositions and how to actively promote these.


About You


Your will have a deep commitment to improving the lives of people with disability and a track record of driving business growth.


You will bring to this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as disability studies, social work, business, or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification may be advantageous.
  • Proven experience in partnership development, stakeholder engagement, or a related field within the disability sector. Experience within the NDIS context is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Analytical thinking and problemsolving skills to identify gaps, develop solutions, and evaluate partnership effectiveness.
