The Opportunity

  • A great opportunity now exists to join the Learning Innovation team and be a part of the exciting chapter of MBS of building new, sustainable online programs. In your role as a Learning Technology Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact, providing handson support for ad hoc requests for learning technology support. You will work closely and utilise, where appropriate, existing Service Desk support models and will create a knowledge bank of learning technology support requests to enable scalable learning technology support across the Service Desk.
  • Accountabilities will include:
  • Daytoday learning platform and technology support
  • Triage, provide handson support or escalate learning technology support requests
  • Support the Learning Spaces team to increase learning technology capability across the School
  • Collaborate with our Learning Design team to support bringing MBS' future courses to life
  • Maintain a database of learning technologies and general administrative support

About you

  • An experienced Learning Technology professional passionate about education and learning with excellent customer service skills and an inquisitive mind.
  • Ideally, you'll also have:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
  • Solid professional experience working in learning technologies support or administration role
  • Knowledge and experience working with learning management systems, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and other learning technology platforms
  • Customer service experience, such as experience in learning technology helpdesk and/or IT helpdesk functions.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with diverse, highlevel constituencies.
  • Aptitude to comprehend both conceptual and lowlevel technology discussion and documents.
