The Recruitment Services branch within People Safety Culture & Communications provides expert advice and support to the department on all recruitment related matters, including attraction, selection, redeployment and other recruitment and retention practices.

Working within the Department of Justice and Community Safety's strategic objective of "building a high performing justice system", Recruitment Services delivers consultative, progressive, innovative, fair and ethical recruitment solutions.

What you will do

Responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, the Talent Business Partner will work with hiring managers across the department to understand their recruitment needs.

Ensuring that target hires are achieved within the talent delivery team portfolios.

As a trusted adviser, the department relies on the Talent Business Partner to guide them through the complexities of recruiting to the varied and unique roles, across a varied portfolio.


Some of your duties will include:

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver high quality recruitment outcomes.
  • Deliver the required hiring forecast across the talent delivery team.
  • Provide accurate and timely advice to internal and external stakeholders on the recruitment process, relevant policies, best practice recruitment methodologies and legislative requirements.
  • Undertake the full recruitment lifecycle including job briefing, advertising, sourcing, shortlisting, interviewing, background checking and offer management.
  • Provide regular reporting to management and key business stakeholders.
About you

  • Experience managing the endtoend recruitment process.
  • Experience in recruitment business partnering to meet operational demands.
A related tertiary degree is desirable but not essential.
