We have developed an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to work within our Pharmacy Clinical Trial Team at Gosford Hospital.

About You

  • You hold a Certificate Level IV qualification completed at a nationally recognised Pharmacy Technician Certificate Course or equivalent qualifications.
  • You have demonstrated advanced understanding and experience of dispensing/issuing of pharmaceuticals in a hospital setting and are competent in cytotoxic reconstitution, sterile production and nonsterile production.
  • You have a strong work ethic and high level of attention to detail.
  • You have demonstrated ability and experience in the effective use workplace information technology systems.

What you'll be doing


To undertake an advanced technical role, within the Pharmacy Clinical Trials Team to provide clinical trial dispensing and assist in the management of clinical trial supplies.

You will also be required to provide cytotoxic reconstitution, sterile manufacturing/production tasks and the quality assurance activities associated with such tasks, in order to deliver optimal medicines management for patients and staff of CCLHD.
