We provide support services for people living with a disability.

We support young adults and adults with an intellectually and physical disability who are high functioning to those with complex support needs develop and maintain life skills in the areas of their choice.


We are currently recruiting for Casual Disability Support Workers in Brisbane to support some of our clients for Community Access, Innovative Community participation and in-home supports.

The position is currently based in North Brisbane and surroundings and you will need to be available to work during the day to support our clients, as well as possible weekends.

The Role


You will be responsible for supporting clients in Ferny Grove and Spring Hill with mental health, physical disability and behaviours of concern.

Day to day you will support clients to live active and meaningful lives in their community, including taking residents to medical appointments, Gym and other social outings.


In this role you are required to complete all administration and reporting requirements, and may need to provide day-to-day home living supports such as assisting with meal preparation, domestic duties, medication administration and personal care needs.


Working as part of a small collaborative team you will also work with managers and colleagues to establish processes to support with support strategies as required.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for the role you will be an experienced disability professional with a minimum 1 year experience. You will have worked in a similar role and have proven experience.


You will also:

  • Have a working knowledge of Disability legislation & the NDIS;
  • Have a demonstrated commitment to using person centred active support principles in all interactions;
  • Be able to communicate in a clear, concise and friendly manner with a broad range of people involved in the residents care, such family & carers, staff, behavioural specialists & health care professionals;
  • Be willing to undertake a range of daytoday tasks including maintaining client records, assisting with meal preparation, domestic duties, administering medication and personal care;
  • Have a full drivers licence with comprehensive insurance
  • Have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety and You" module, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement;
  • Have Current First Aid Certificate & CPR, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
  • Current Blue Card
  • Completed COVID 19 Infection Control Training
  • A minimum of Certificate III in Disability Services or equivalent qualification (desirable);
  • Other relevant certificates & professional development experience will be highly regarded;
  • Have a cleared Worker Screening Check.

Up to $38.08 per hour
