Our Team


The Monash Health finance department is a multidisciplinary team that undertakes a variety of professional services to support our health service.

The activities undertaken by department range anywhere from processing to oversight of key activities. One particular discipline in the department is Finance and Strategy Directorate.


The Finance and Strategy's primary focus is making contributions to the future direction of the following contexts:

  • Finance Department
  • Supports new opportunities for the department's development or assists in resolving issues that affect most or all of the group.


  • Organisation

  • Financial leadership, perspective and contributions are made to enterprise level priorities. This involves working with senior stakeholders to ensure that their strategic activities consider their financial footprint and being a catalyst for better strategic outcomes through considered resource usage.
  • This is a full time role that will report directly to the Director Finance and Strategy.

A Day in the Life
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to make a positive impact at the highest levels of Monash Health. The work directly supports outcomes required for our board and executive. You will work with a variety of stakeholders from different teams and entities. The role is responsible for driving strategic initiatives to ensure the organisation's effectiveness, compliance, and long-term success.

What you need:


  • Degree qualified
  • CPA or CA qualified
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • 5+ years' experience with engagement, collaboration and influence roles
