Permanent Part Time hours per week (Thursday and Friday)

Band 4 - $67,100 to $72,071 pro rata + 11% super
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Hobsons Bay City Council Occasional Care program as a Diploma Qualified Educator.

This fulfilling role provides high-quality care and education for children from 6 months to school age on Thursday and Friday mornings during the school term.


You can:

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to share your skills and commitment to Early Childhood Education while working in partnership with families to encourage positive outcomes for children


You can:

  • Plan and implement high quality care and educational program for children aged 6 months to school age
  • Actively support children to participate in the occasional care program
  • Ensure a safe and stimulating environment for the children
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Work in consultation with children, families, and other educators

What you need to succeed:


  • A Diploma of Children's Services, an Associate Diploma of Childcare and Diploma of Teaching (early Childhood) or equivalent
  • Welldeveloped verbal and written communication skills
  • Current Working with Children Check
