    Responsibilities

    Working at Hutcheon and Pearce you will find yourself working on a variety of Agricultural Machinery both large and small and with changing seasons bringing different needs in the agricultural space you will often find yourself taking on new challenges and learnings.

    • Perform service, repairs and maintenance of all machinery and equipment (both in the workshop and on client farms).
    • Diagnose and interpret machine faults to get our customers back up and running.
    • Manage and maintain service records for machinery.
    • Provide technical advice and support to customers and other service technicians.

    The Ideal Candidate:

    • Relevant trade qualifications: Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HV Diesel Mechanics), Agricultural Mechanical Technology, Mobile Plant Technology, Automotive Manufacturing, Fitter/Turner or other relevant experience and qualifications.
    • Current and valid driver's licence
    • Organised with great attention to detail
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently
    • Strong teamwork and communication skills

    Desirable:

    • Agricultural machinery servicing experience (John Deere preferred, other large brands highly advantageous)
    • Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic experience is beneficial
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Forklift licence preferred (we can help you obtain this)
