Right now, we are experiencing rapid growth and are seeking a bright and energised Program Managers to join our inspired team.


In this role, you will contribute to the critical outcomes of the Australian Defence Force by delivering complex, state-of-the-art programs designed to keep Australia safe.

The Raytheon Australia (RAUS) Exercise Control (EXCON) program provides Exercise Design, Planning, Execution and Analysis support to ADF major Large Force Employment (LFE) activities conducted in the Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) mediums.


You will lead an expert team to success by setting the vision, building the plan and using your unique leadership skills to foster a strong and safe team culture that delivers truly innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daytoday safety and operations of the program;
  • Provide key communications and stakeholder management within the team;
  • Liaison with Commonwealth Program Offices to ensure Commonwealth expectations are met;
  • Implementation and management of relevant Program Management Plan or Support Services Management Plan activities.
  • Identification and resolution of program issues in a timely manner; and efficient execution of activities within the program and on time delivery of all deliverables under the contract.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in either, Program or Business Management, or equivalent experience; with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a defence project management role or relevant experience;
  • Demonstrated competence in Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) competencies;
  • Sound understanding of military operations across, Air, Land, Maritime, Space and Information Domains and proven understanding of Joint Operations.
  • Proven ability to work both as an individual and as a member of a highperformance team.
  • Strongly developed interpersonal skills and able to influence stakeholders at an operational level and the ability to develop solutions that meet complex customer requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with planning and scheduling range availability for multiple configurations and multiple customers.
