The Company

Our client is a global agribusiness, one of the largest suppliers in their field and the leader in their industry within Australia.

They have been involved in the Australian agribusiness sector for over 80 years, with significant investment in production, distribution and marketing and a focus on ongoing research and development and technical innovation.


The Position

Reporting into the National Sales Manager, the Regional Sales Manager - Southern, will be primarily responsible for managing and coaching a sales team that supports customers across South Eastern Australia.

You will assist this team with creating and implementing growth strategies, developing and actioning processes to maximise sales opportunities and look to mentor and grow each team member and their capacity.


You will have responsibility for developing and maintain key relationships with buying groups and key customers across the region, ensuring mutually beneficial relationships exist and identifying areas for growth.


You will also act as a business leader, ensuring effective relationships across internal stakeholders including the senior leadership team, broader sales group, the marketing and product development team and R&D teams.


The Person

To be successful in this role, you will have experience managing and leading a commercial sales team with a passion for people development and cultural alignment.

You will ideally have experience working in a corporate agribusiness, with an understanding of the supply of product through the regional retail network and experience partnering with large customers in this sector.

You will have sound commercial acumen with well-developed negotiation skills, and a high level written and verbal communication skills. A track record of relationship building skills and a strong customer focus will be beneficial.
