We have an opportunity for a Functional Data Specialist to join a large energy organisation.

The Functional Data Specialist is responsible for leading the development of enterprise data pipelines to meet business reporting, analytical and big data needs within the Enterprise Intelligence function of the business division.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver the translational data requirements for a large technology transformation.
Design and develop data mapping from source systems to the target system (SAP).
Design data mapping requirements from functional mappings for a migration from legacy systems to SAP.
Manage the translation of data requirements from functional mapping.
Provide high level expert knowledge and design understanding to develop data mapping for legacy systems.
Working with testing analysts to provide input into the test cases for the data migration process.

Key Requirements:

Experience in data migrations from legacy systems to SAP (target system).
Extensive SAP migration experience with ECM systems e.g. Ellipse
Experience working with technical teams as part of a large technology transformation.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in estimating the endtoend effort required to deliver the data migration functional mappings from the source systems to the target system.
Experience in advanced problem solving with SAP systems, analytical skills and data mapping.
Experience working in an agile project environment.
Experience in managing translation of data requirements from functional mapping.
