The Company
Granite Consulting has partnered with one of Australia's leading financial industry to support in hiring Database Administrator who is responsible for plans, delivers and supports database management systems as part of a team.
The Role
Contract
- 6 months
- Prefer Sydney but open to remote work
Selection Criteria:
Knowledge and skills:
Education:
Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- One or more major corporate database systems such as SQL Server.
- Database programming languages including SQL.
- Scripting for the development and support of database tools and utilities
- One or more major operating system platforms including Windows Server.
- Backup systems, such as Actifio.
- High Availability environments
- Good understanding of the business information needs of the organisation.
- Effective troubleshooter.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with large, corporate databases
Other requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to uphold and support the organisational Vision, Mission and Values.
- Understand, promote and adhere to the Code of Conduct, Health and Safety practices, and all company polices. Refer to company intranet and mandatory elearning modules.
