Your role:

Due to sustained growth and progress we are looking for a
Subcontracts Officer.

Working closely with the Subcontracts Specialist, you will support various Defence programs that are either in the bid phase or execution.

You will partner with the future business team on subcontract elements in bids and proposals, contribute to the implementation of the strategy, ensure contractual obligations are met on assigned subcontracts, assist in the development of change proposals and provide effective administrative control of subcontracts.

Your new leader is an experienced and switched-on specialist, she has a flexible management style being able to either partner with you or provide mentorship.

This role can be based either in Brisbane or Canberra.

About you:

Coming with a good grounding in contract management (experience & education), you understand commercial risk and have experience with complex contracts.

Collaboration is key, you have good stakeholder engagement skills and have a flexible communication style. You have a keen eye for detail and have view problem solving as one of your key strengths. Added bonus if you have experience with Defence (specifically ASDEFCON), but this is not mandatory.

Lastly, you either hold an Australian Government Security Clearance or are eligible to obtain.
