At Australian Unity we are going through an exciting phase of innovative change with the commissioning of a brand-new Aged Care Precinct opened its doors in beautiful South Melbourne in June 2023.


Currently home to The Grace Retirement Community, which comprises 79 residences, The Alba Aged Care Suites (95 beds) and Easy Living Apartments (60 apartments) will provide customers with a continuum of options from independence through to clinical care and memory support.

It will offer state-of-the-art facilities within a light filled interior, on-site café, private dining facilities, hair and beauty spa, and gym along with many other activities in the Albert Park Lake area.

We ensure that residents will truly be able to partner with teams to create their own care plans, schedules and ensure that they are living their lives the way that they want to.

Your New Role:


As a
Clinical Care Manager you will lead and support our team of nurses and personal care assistants to provide the best care possible to our residents.


You will enjoy working within our
Better Together social model of ageing well, which offers a continuum of care and support services for our Residents, within a range of accommodation options in one location.


What does your new role look like?

  • Leading and managing our clinical and care teams, including training, coaching on best practice and clinical principles
  • Conducting physical assessments of residents and ensuring quality of clinical care provided to residents meets and exceeds best practice
  • Assisting with preparation and leadership for site audits and accreditations
  • Overseeing the management of AN-AAC assessments and quality assurance
  • Identifying and managing clinical risks
  • Management of resident needs and complex issues as required
  • Operations management, including overseeing recruitment, roster management and some administrative tasks

About you:


Above all, you will be an accomplished Clinical Leader, who can develop and drive our clinical care strategy, whilst demonstrating our Values of Bold, Warm and Honest.

  • You are a friendly, warm, and compassionate person who has a strong desire to work with and assist the elderly
  • You have a strong want to listen and understand our client's needs and requirements
  • Knowledge of accreditation procedures and standards
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and extensive leadership and management experience
  • An experienced and accomplished Registered Nurse
  • Aged Care experience would be highly regarded
  • Proven ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives and implement new systems and processes
  • Effective financial management: ability to manage AN-AAC, rosters, clinical consumables inline with budget and support requirements.
  • Experience in operational management including recruitment and rostering; ideally in a facility or clinical management position.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday on a fulltime basis for 3 months
  • You hold Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor of Nursing
  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Fully vaccinated for COVID 19, including the Booster and Influenza
