The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our BlueScope Distribution business in our
Eagle Farm team as an
Operations Specialist. BlueScope Distribution is a single-source provider of steel and aluminium product, processing and service solutions.

The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification.

BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.

In this versatile role, you will deliver continuous improvement outcomes for our Trade Coast site, acting as a cross-functional support for the operations teams.

Using your leadership skills, you will lead the on-boarding of our new employees, including conducting training on our processing machinery.

What Will You Do?

In this key support role, you will:

deliver continuous improvement outcomes across production, supply and support

- on-board new starters into the business
- train and develop team members skills on our process machinery
- act as a relief for our Operations Supervisors
- ad-hoc project work

More About You
As someone who sees themselves as a future leader, you will have:

experience working in a continuous improvement environment

- competent computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite
- an understanding of SAP and ability to learn systems quickly
- the ability to influence peers and work in a team environment
